With its launch event, OnePlus has fully confirmed its collaboration with T-Mobile, to bring the device to 5,600 carrier stores across the U.S. The manufacturer also announced a trade-in deal, which is extremely beneficial to consumers, who will be able to trade in a number of old devices for $300 off the price of the OnePlus 6T.

The entire OnePlus lineup is eligible for this deal, those who own devices as old as the OnePlus One will get more for the value of their device compared to selling it through other means.

In addition to its U.S. carrier collaboration, the OnePlus 6T is also supported by 233 carriers in 74 countries globally. The device starts at $549 for its 6GB RAM/128GB ROM model, but there is also an 8GB RAM/128GB ROM model available for $579 and an 8GB RAM/256GB ROM model available for $629.

OnePlus 6T Screen Unlock

OnePlus has confirmed its Screen Unlock in-display fingerprint scanner feature, which can unlock a device in 0.34 seconds. The manufacturer detailed that its in-display fingerprint scanner was originally tested on a prototype on the OnePlus 5T, but that found earlier models were not up to its standard for speed. Even with this setback, the OnePlus 6T is the first U.S. device to feature an in-display fingerprint scanner.
