Barcelona — TCL showcased several devices at MWC 2019 this week. In addition to a new red color option of the BlackBerry Key 2 the manufacturer announced three low-cost smartphones for its Alcatel brand, including the Alcatel 1S, Alcatel 3, Alcatel 3L, as well as the Google Assistant powered Alcatel 3T 10 tablet.

While the BlackBerry Key 2 has been on the market for almost a year, this new models will feature an internal storage upgrade from 64GB to 128GB. All other hardware remains the same, and the device will be available for $749 when it releases.

TCL’s other devices will see primarily international availability. Check out their specs, prices, and release details below.

Alcatel 1S

The Alcatel 1S features a 5.5-inch HD+ display, 3GB Ram and 32GB internal storage with microSD expansion up to 128GB, a dual rear camera with a 13-megapixel lens and a 2-megapixel lens, and a 5-megapixel front camera, a 3,060 mAh battery, a rear fingerprint scanner, and Android 9 Pie.

Color options include black, blue, rose, gold. The smartphone will be available starting in the second quarter of 2019 for EUR109.

Alcatel 3

The Alcatel 3 features a 5.9-inch HD+ display, 3GB/4GB Ram and 32GB/64GB internal storage with microSD expansion up to 128GB, a dual rear camera with a 13-megapixel lens and a 5-megapixel lens, and an 8-megapixel front camera, a 3,500 mAh battery, a rear fingerprint scanner, and Android 8.1 Pie with an update to Android 9 Pie expected soon.

Color options include blueish purple and blackish blue. The smartphone will be available starting in the second quarter of 2019 for EUR159/EUR189.  

Alcatel 3L

The Alcatel 3L features a 5.9-inch HD+ display, 2GB Ram and 16GB internal storage with microSD expansion up to 128GB, a dual rear camera with a 13-megapixel lens and a 5-megapixel lens, and an 8-megapixel front camera, a 3,500 mAh battery, a rear fingerprint scanner, and Android 8.1 Pie.

Color options include black and blue. The smartphone will be available starting in the second quarter of 2019 for EUR139.

Alcatel 3T 10

The Alcatel 3T 10 features a 10-inch display, 3GB Ram and 32GB internal storage with microSD expansion up to 128GB, a 2-megapixel rear camera and an 2-megapixel front camera, a 4,080 mAh battery and Android 8.1 Pie. Color options include black and blue.

The tablet will be available starting in the second quarter of 2019 for EUR179 or for EUR229 when paired with its Audio Station Bluetooth accessory that provides up to 7 hours of audio on its 2000 mAh battery.
