The OnePlus 7 Pro is set to be unveiled in a matter of days but the most details about OnePlus’ most ambitious endeavor to date have already been revealed.
The only detail that has really remained under wraps is its price for the U.S. market, though rumors suggest the OnePlus 7 Pro could sell for about $750 stateside. There have been a few reports about the device may cost in other countries, but T-Mobile has confirmed that One Plus 7 Pro will release in the U.S. before it is available anywhere else.
The carrier recently detailed that the One Plus 7 Pro will be exclusive on its network, much like the OnePlus 6T was when it released last October. The device will be available for purchase ahead of its May 17 global launch date in several locations in the U.S.
New York City patrons will be able to buy the device shortly after its unveiling on May 14 at the T-Mobile signature store in Times Square from 2 to 10 p.m. There will also be early sale events at T-Mobile signature stores in Chicago, Las Vegas, Miami, San Francisco, and Santa Monica on May 15. Early adopters will also be treated to free OnePlus swag and other special gifts at the early launch events. Some of the gifts, however, will be limited to the first 200 customers who purchase the One Plus 7 Pro.

Among the many hardware leaks for the OnePlus 7 Pro have also been a host of press render leaks showing off the device’s design. The leaks confirm three color options for the OnePlus 7 Pro, which include Mirror Gray, Nebula Blue, and Almond. We also know that the device has a design very similar to the OnePlus 6T, with the exception of its pop-up selfie camera.
OnePlus is also expected to make some fan-requested performance tweaks to the upcoming device. In particular, the OnePlus 7 Pro will reportedly have a more powerful motor to allow for stronger keyboard haptic feedback and notification vibrations.
OnePlus has put a heavy focus on marketing the Pro model of its upcoming smartphone, but there is also expected to be a standard OnePlus 7 model announced on Tuesday. While that model may have less powerful specs than the 5G-powered flagship, the baseline OnePlus 7 may also include the stereo speakers rumored for the 7 Pro. Though the feature is unconfirmed it would be a tantalizing addition for those who wish to upgrade to the latest OnePlus 7 model but aren’t willing to shell out the extra money.
The main OnePlus 7 Pro launch event takes place May 14 at Pier 94 in New York City, starting at 11 a.m. EDT. There will be satellite events taking place in London, Bangalore, and Beijing, as well as a live stream of the New York event on OnePlus.com, as well as on YouTube, Twitter, and Facebook.
