The Chinese manufacturer TCL may release at least two 5G smartphones in 2020, according to a recent leak.
Tech informant, Evan Blass shared Monday, product roadmap slides from TCL that includes devices the manufacturer plans to announce between the end of 2019 and the middle of 2020. If accurate, the 5G devices, in particular, are set to launch during the third quarter of 2020.
Before these 5G devices, the TCL is expected to launch a device called the T1 during the third quarter of 2019. This device will likely be unveiled at the IFA conference next month. Full spec details accompanied the recent leak.
The T1 device will feature a 6.53-inch FullHD+ display. It houses a “Dotch” hole punch for the front camera located on the top left corner. The device will run a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chip and include a triple-camera set up with 48-megapixel lens, 16-megapixel lens, a 2-megapixel lens, as well as a 24-megapixel front camera. Other hardware specs include 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage and a 3,820mAh. The T1 will also feature a rear-facing fingerprint scanner and a USB-C port. For software, the device will support Android 9 Pie with TCL UI overlay.
Following the T1 is the T1 Pro, which will launch during the first quarter of 2020 with Edge AMOLED display, likely indicating no bezels, and a quad-camera. The T1 5G and the T1 Pro 5G will then release during the third quarter of 2020. The T1 5G will feature a dual-camera, while the T1 Pro 5G will feature the Edge AMOLED display and a quad-camera. There are currently no other major details on these devices.

TCL also included what is likely its first foldable device, called the FlexTab in the roadmap. The foldable is expected to launch during the third quarter of 2020 alongside the T1 5G and the T1 Pro 5G.
