“Oppo Find X2 Pro price and availability announced as Samsung Galaxy S20 competition in Europe and China”

The Oppo Find X2 series is official as of Friday. Despite the devices not having U.S. availability, many are considering them a major contender against the Samsung Galaxy S20 series.

The Oppo Find X2 Pro, in particular, has been highlighted for its specs and design. The smartphone includes a 6.7-inch QHD+ curved OLED display with a 120hz refresh rate, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chip, enabling Sub6 5G, 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage, and a 4,260mah with 65W quick charge that completes in approximately 38 minutes.

Its triple rear camera set up includes a 48-megapixel main lens, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 13-megapixel telephoto lens with a 5x optical zoom. Some other camera features include a 60X digital zoom and an ultra macro mode. The front camera is a 32-megapixel lens housed in a left-side hole punch.

Design-wise, the device will be available in a black ceramic color option, as well as in a orange vegan leather with gold accents. There will also be a black and gold Lamborghini Edition based on the design of the Aventador SVJ Roadster.

Additional features include IP68 dust and water resistance, Dolby Atmos stereo speakers, optical in-display fingerprint and face unlock authentication options and Android 10 with a ColorOS 7.1 overlay. The device does not feature a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The standard Oppo Find X2 differs mildly, featuring 8GB and 12GB RAM options and 128GB and 256GB internal storage options, with configurations and prices varying by region. Its triple camera includes a 48-megapixel main lens, a 48-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 13-megapixel telephoto lens, a 4,200mAh battery, and black ceramic and glass ocean color options.

The Oppo Find X2 series will be available in early May with the Pro model selling for EUR1,199 in Europe and CNY6,999 in China, the standard model starting at EUR999 in Europe for a 12GB RAM / 256GB internal storage model, and starting at CNY5,499 in China for an 8GB RAM / 128GB internal storage model. The Lamborghini Edition will sell exclusively in China for CNY12,999.
