“2020 Acer Predator Triton 500 and Nitro 5 price and specs official”

Acer’s latest gaming notebooks, the Predator Triton 500 and Acer Nitro 5 are now official, featuring the latest 10th Gen Intel Core processors as well as respectively, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX SUPER and GTX GPUs.

The laptops will be available in various markets in May with the Predator Triton 500 starting at $2,199.99 (EUR1,899 in Europe and RMB 14,999 in China), and the Acer Nitro 5 starting at $749.99 (EUR899 in Europe and RMB 6,499 in China). However, Acer is highlighting specific configurations for various markets.

Predator Triton 500

The Predator Triton 500 PT515-52-77P9 model will sell in the U.S. for $2,599.99, featuring a 15.6-inch 300Hz IPS display with 3ms response time that also covers the full sRGB color gamut. Its keyboard also features RGB lighting. The notebook runs an Intel Core i7-10750H processor and the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 GPU. Its G-SYNC technology aids in reducing tearing and lag. This model also features 32GB DDR4 memory, and 1TB SSD for the U.S. configuration. The laptop can also be configured with the GeForce RTX 2070 GPU and up to 2TB of NVMe RAID 0 SSD storage.

Other features include battery life support up to 7.5 hours and the Control Center 2.0 software to manage the notebook’s Wi-Fi 6 AX1650i wireless controller and E3100G Ethernet controller accessories.

Design-wise, the Triton 500 has an all-metal chassis and a width of just 17.9 mm (0.7 in). It weighs 2.1 kg (4.63 lb) and has an 81 percent screen-to-body ratio.

Acer Nitro 5

The Nitro 5 AN515-55-52KW model will sell in the US for $899.99, featuring a 15.6-inch 120Hz IPS display with a 3ms response time. This configuration runs an Intel Core i5-10300H processor, an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650Ti, 16GB memory, and 512GB SSD. The laptop can also be configurated with a 144Hz display, the GeForce RTX 2060 or 1650 GPUs, up to 32 GB of DD4R4 RAM that is user-upgradeable, and up to two M.2 PCle SSDs, plus a 1TB HDD1 for storage.

Other features include Intel Wi-Fi 6 AX201 (802.11ax) and Killer Ethernet E2600.
