The Samsung Galaxy S20 has been on the market since early March, but Verizon has now announced availability details for its millimeter-wave 5G version of the device. The Samsung Galaxy S20 5G UW will be available for preorder starting May 21 and will go on sale on June 4.
The Galaxy S20 5G UW supports both of the Ultra Wide and 5G low-band networks specific to Verizon. While the carrier released other models in Samsung’s current S series, the Galaxy S20 5G+ and Galaxy S20 5G Ultra during the initial March launch, but the Galaxy S20 5G UW is intended to provide even more 5G coverage.
The Galaxy S20 5G UW is the 6.2-inch model in the S20 family. It will come in a Cloud White color, exclusive to Verizon, in addition to Cloud Pink and Cosmic Gray options. The device will sell for $999.99 or $41.66 a month for 24 months under a device payment plan.
Other features on the Galaxy S20 5G UW include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chip, 12GB of RAM options, and 128GB internal storage with MicroSD expansion up to 1TB, and a 4,000mAh mAh battery with 25W fast charging, 15W wireless charging, and 9W reverse wireless charging. Its triple camera set up includes a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens, a 64-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens, as well as a 10-megapixel wide-angle front camera.
Verizon is also offering several launch deals for the Galaxy S20 5G UW.
