Details about the Google Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 are becoming even more clear as a new leak gives a very clear look at the upcoming devices. A Redditor recently shared a live image of two smartphones, purported to be the Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5, in addition to several specs details for the device. This leak quickly follows image renders that surfaced just days prior.
The latest specs details suggest that the Pixel 4a 5G (right) will include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chip, a 60hz display, 6GB of RAM, a 3800mAh battery, a rear fingerprint scanner, and a 3.5mm audio jack. Its camera system may include a 12.2-megapixel main lens as part of a dual-lens set up (0.5x wide, 1x standard) and an 8-megapixel front lens.
Suggested specs for the Pixel 5 (left) include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chip, a 90hz display, 8GB of RAM, a 4,000mAh battery, and a rear fingerprint scanner, but no 3.5mm audio jack. Its camera system may also include a 12.2-megapixel main lens and an 8-megapixel front lens.
Prior reports revealed a render leak of the Pixel 5 from @OnLeaks and Pricebaba as well as specs details from Android Central. The tech blog has learned that the Pixel 4a 5G will likely have a 6.2-inch display. It revealed substantially more details about the Pixel 5, including a 6-inch display, 128GB of internal storage, standard and ultra-wide lenses in its dual-camera setup, and 15W Qi wireless charging support with 5W reverse wireless charging.
The devices may launch as soon as September 30 with the Pixel 4a 5G likely selling for $499 in the U.S. Price details fo the Pixel 5 have not yet surfaced but the blog suggests a $600-range price might be ideal.
