The OnePlus 8T is now on sale and is available unlocked at OnePlus.com and at T-Mobile, selling for $749. The Chinese manufacturer announced the new smartphone earlier in October with a 120Hz Fluid AMOLED display and Warp Charge 65 among its highlight features.
T-Mobile’s branded OnePlus 8T+ 5G in all respect, save for the addition of an IP68 dust and water resistance rating. T-Mobile is also offering a half-off deal for those starting a new line with the carrier. Customers will have to pay for the OnePlus 8T+ 5G in full and will then receive the half-off discount in the form of 24 monthly bill credits.
The OnePlus 8T largely returns back to the brand’s original affordable premium ethos. It includes a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chip, a 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage model for the U.S. market, and Android 11 software with an OxygenOS 11 overlay. The device is available in Aquamarine Green and Lunar Silver color options.
Its 6.55-inch FHD+ display includes an in-display fingerprint sensor and has an A+ rating from DisplayMate. Meanwhile, its 4,500 mAh battery supports 10V/6.5A Warp Charge 65 fast charging, which allows for a full day’s charge in just 15 minutes.
The OnePlus 8T also features an elaborate quad-camera system with a 48-megapixel main lens, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, a 5-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel monochrome lens. Its front camera is a 16-megapixel lens.
Other U.S. availability for the OnePlus 8T includes Amazon.com. The device is now also available in Canada, Europe, and China.
