“Alcatel 1L Pro and Alcatel 1 Tackle Sub-$200 International Markets with Android 11 Go Edition”

TCL has introduced two budget tier smartphones at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, the Alcatel 1L Pro and the Alcatel 1. The devices are Android 11 Go edition models set to serve the under $200 space and will sell in various international markets.

“We’re constantly developing new offerings that build moments of joy for everyone. Our 1 Series phones perfectly demonstrate our commitment to deliver [the] most affordable smartphones with great value,” TCL Communication Chief Marketing Officer Stefan Streit said in a statement.

Alcatel 1L Pro

The Alcatel 1L Pro will be available in September 2021 in Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa, selling for 2699MXN ($131). The device will be available in Power Grey or Twilight Blue color options with an S-shaped gradient texture on its back panel.

Its specs include a 6.1-inch HD+ display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio, an 84 percent screen-to-body ratio, and a mini-notch design to house its selfie camera, an octa-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage that goes up to 128GB with microSD expansion, and a 3,000mAh battery, powered by micro USB. Its HDR-enabled dual-camera setup includes a 13-megapixel AI lens and a 2-megapixel depth lens, in addition to a 5-megapixel front camera.

Other highlight features include Face Unlock and Fingerprint Unlock.

Alcatel 1

The Alcatel 1 will be available in August 2021 in Europe and Latin America, selling for EUR59, ($70). The device will be available Volcano Black or AI Aqua, color options with a finely carved texture on its back panel.

Its specs include a 5-inch display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, an octa-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage that goes up to 128GB with microSD expansion, and a 2000mAh battery powered by micro USB. Its rear camera is a 5-megapixel lens and its front camera is a 2-megapixel lens.

Other highlight features include face tracking for photo capture and an Eye Comfort mode to reduce blue light and eye strain.
