TCL has now confirmed the price of the TCL 30 V 5G as $299.99. The Verizon exclusive smartphone will have access to the carrier’s various 5G options, including ultra-wide band, nationwide 5G, and C-Band connectivity; widening its offerings of affordable devices on the typically pricey mobile network.
The TCL 30 V5G features a 6.67-inch FHD+ display with a 60Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 chip with 4GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage with expandable memory up to 1TB, and a 4,500mAh battery with 18W fast charging and reverse charging. It also includes a rear fingerprint sensor, USB-C, Bluebooth, Nano SIM, Android 11 software. The TCL 30 V5G will be available in a Midnight Gray matte finish.
Camera features on the TCL 30 V5G include a 50-megapixel main lens, 5-megapixel superwide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens, plus a 16-megapixel selfie camera. Audio features on the device include dual speakers and dual microphones with noise cancellation and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
The TCL 30 V 5G was announced at CES 2022 in early January, alongside the TCL 30 EX 5G, which will be available at T-Mobile and Metro by T-Mobile. TCL has not yet announced pricing for the TCL 30 EX 5G.
