The Xiaomi 12T series was announced Tuesday, including the standard Xiaomi 12T model and the Xiaomi 12T Pro, with both devices including major camera updates among their primary features.
The Xiaomi 12T Pro, in particular, includes a 200-megapixel main camera with pro-level features such as night photography and quick focusing. Additionally, the 1/1.22-inch sensor, which is Samsung’s ISOCELL HP1, features in-sensor 2x zoom. The device supports Xiaomi ProCut and Ultra burst software, that aid with content editing, including movie making. To aid in such creation, the Xiaomi 12T Pro supports full-resolution 8K video.
Other lenses on the Xiaomi 12T Pro camera system include its 8-megapixel ultra-wide angle lens and 2-megapixel macro lens, as well as its 20-megapixel front-facing camera. The standard Xiaomi 12T features a 108-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.
The Xiaomi 12T Pro features a 6.67-inch 120Hz display with AdaptiveSync, Adaptive HDR, Adaptive Reading mode, and Dolby Vision HDR10+, as well as an in-screen fingerprint sensor. The front screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and the back has anti-glare glass. Color options include Black, Silver, and Blue.
Hardware specs for the Xiaomi 12T Pro include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 chip and a Qualcomm Adreno GPU, with a Snapdragon X65 5G modem-RF System, and a 7th Gen Qualcomm AI Engine. The device includes LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage with three variants, 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, and 12GB/256GB. For power, the smartphone includes a 5,000mAh battery that supports 120W HyperCharge and Xiaomi’s AdaptiveCharge. HyperCharge allows the Xiaomi 12T Pro battery to charge to 100 percent in 19 minutes and supports up to 13.5 hours of screen-on time. The device also comes with a 120W in-box charger. Software-wise, the Xiaomi 12T Pro runs Android 12 with an MIUI 13 overlay.
Other notable features of the Xiaomi 12T Pro include its Dual speakers, Sound by Harman Kardon, Dolby Atmos support, as well as its Dual SIM, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. In addition to the full spectrum of radio bands, 5G, 4G, 3G, and 2G, it also supports Wi-Fi 6.

Xiaomi 12T Series will begin selling on October 13 starting at EUR599 for the standard Xiaomi 12T and EUR749 for the Xiaomi 12T Pro. The devices will be available through official Xiaomi channels.
