The Amazon Prime Day homepage crashed just as the online retailer was set to begin its annual blow out sale Monday afternoon and the internet didn’t skip a beat calling out the massive blunder. Instead of droves of discounts on tech, beauty, and home products, shoppers saw images of several cute dogs on Amazon’s 404 pages.
Things seem to be up and running now, but there was a lot of time for people to share their opinions on the Amazon website crash, which lasted about one hour. Many took to Twitter to share memes and gifs of their opinion of the site crash. Quips about Amazon’s servers being on fire and IT specialists slacking on the job were common jokes.
Here are some of the hilarious memes that came from the Amazon Prime Day Crash of 2018.
