The Galaxy Note 10 lineup is official as of Wednesday and Samsung has announced three models, which include the Galaxy Note 10 and the Galaxy Note 10+, which will release August 23. The Galaxy Note 10 5G will largely be available at a later date, likely sometime in the fourth quarter.
Verizon has confirmed it will be the first carrier to offer the 5G-powered Galaxy Note 10+ model with a limited and exclusive launch on August 23. AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint will also offer the Galaxy Note 10+ 5G; however, these carriers will have different release dates due to having slightly different versions of the 5G device.
Samsung has ushered in its Galaxy Note 10 models with a number of features introduced on the Galaxy S10 series earlier this year. Some of these features include the ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, wireless power share, and triple and quad-camera setups.
The Galaxy Note 10 also has some of the largest screen real estate of Samsung’s flagship devices, featuring minimal bezels and an Infinity-O display with a minuscule hole-punch to house its front-facing camera. Samsung has also spruced up its Bluetooth-enabled Galaxy Note 10 S-Pen, with added accelerometer and gyro sensors for more spacial functionality.
Other common features include the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chip (or Samsung Exynos 9825 depending on the market), USB-C, and Android 9 Pie with a One UI overlay. Samsung has also removed the headphone jack and the physical Bixby button from the Galaxy Note 10, making the smart assistant feature strictly a voice-activated mechanism. In the U.S. the Galaxy Note 10 models will be available in Aura Black, Aura White, and Aura Glow color options.
