“Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite rumors unfold better specs than Galaxy S10e flagship”

Continuous rumors about a budget model, the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite is panning out to be a rather interesting device. Despite all the details, much about this smartphone remains shrouded in mystery. There is currently no word on when the Galaxy S10 Lite will hit the market or how much it might cost. There is also no indication on whether the device will have U.S. availability.

Most recent details, from an Anatel filing, pinpoint the device’s model number as SM-G770F and suggest that the Galaxy S10 Lite that the device may feature a 4,370mAh battery. If accurate, the smartphone would have a higher capacity than the Galaxy S10+ battery. As a seemingly mid-range smartphone, the Galaxy S10 Lite is expected to blend features from the Galaxy S9+ and the S10+

Earlier rumors have suggested the device may feature 8GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage with microSD expansion up to 512GB, and Android 10 running natively, as well as a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chip. This potentially makes for a more impressive looking model than the Galaxy S10e, which launched as a lower-cost option alongside the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+, and Galaxy S10 5G in February. However, there are several aspects that could make the Galaxy S10 Lite an ideal mid-range model.

While considered a flagship-level component, the Snapdragon 855 chip is on its way to being outdated as 2019 comes to a close. There are already murmurs about the 2020 Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chip, which will likely be unveiled in December.

The Galaxy S10 Lite may also feature a 6.7-inch display; however, Samsung could outfit the device with an LCD or a lower-resolution screen to cut costs. The brand often does this with many of its international budget models that otherwise have pretty beefy specs. Rumors currently suggest the display could have an FHD+ 1080 x 2400 resolution.

Renders from the U.S. Patent Office showcase a design for the Galaxy S10 Lite that is very similar to the Galaxy S10+. They also suggest a triple-lens camera set up, which could include a 48-megapixel wide-angle lens, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 5-megapixel depth sensor, in addition to a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.

Rumors also suggest white, black, and blue color options for the unconfirmed smartphone.
