“Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 Plus leaks include new battery, specs, and render details”

The latest news on Samsung’s flagship tablet series is that the Galaxy Tab S7+ will feature a 10,000mAh battery. Leakster, Venkatesh Babu.G recently shared details from Japan’s TUV Rheinland and Safety Korea certifications that indicate the battery capacity of the Galaxy Tab S7+ will be between 9,800mAh and 10,090mAh. The leaks reveal not only the certification listing but the battery casing with the capacity information included.

Prior reports shared details about battery capacity for the standard Galaxy Tab S7, which may be about 7,760mAh. The two tablets are expected to be 11-inches and 12.4-inches respectively. The Galaxy Tab S7+ is also set to feature 5G connectivity, which could also account for its larger battery.

Other recent reports indicate that an S-Pen stylus for the Galaxy Tab S7 series has been certified by the U.S. Federal Communications Commission. The listing includes details about its frequency range (2402MHz to 2480MHz), among many other intricate function details. Rumors suggest the also upcoming Galaxy Note 20 series will support various remote-like functions, it wouldn’t be surprising if the high-end tablets include S-Pens with similar features. Additionally, the South Korean National Radio Research Agency has certified book cover keyboards for the tablets.

Quickly following renders of the standard model, CAD images of the Galaxy Tab S7+ have also surfaced, showing the device from all angles. The images, shared by @OnLeaks and Pigtou, show a dual-lens rear camera set up with LED flash on the tablet, as well as a USB-C port, power button, volume rocker, a microSD/SIM card slot, and keyboard connectors. They also reveal 285mm x 185mm x 5.7mm dimensions.

While other spec details for the Pro tablet remain scarce, rumors suggest it will feature a 120Hz AMOLED display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, at least 6GB of RAM, and Android 10 with a One UI 2.5 overlay.

The Galaxy Tab S7 series is set to launch in early August. Samsung’s online-only launch event will also showcase the Galaxy Note 20 series, and potentially also the Galaxy Fold 2 and the Galaxy Z Flip 5G. Currently, there are no pricing or availability details for the tablets.
