“Samsung Galaxy S22 Rumored to Come in Four Color Options as Production Set to Begin”

The Samsung Galaxy S22 series might be available in up to four color options if recent reports are to be believed.

Tech analyst Ross Young recently shared details that the standard Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22 Plus are expected to be announced in Black, Green, Pink Gold, and White color options, while the Galaxy S22 Ultra is expected to come in more premium Black, Dark Red, Green, and White hues.

Young also claims the Galaxy S22 mass production is set to begin in early December. This news quickly follows rumors that the Galaxy S22 devices might be announced in early February, which clashes with prior word that the smartphones would be unveiled in late January and available for preorder in mid-February. Samsung has yet to put out its official launch details about the Galaxy S22 series, so speculations remain the order of the day.

With Samsung expected to announce the Galaxy S21 FE during CES in early January; however, a February launch for the Galaxy S22 does seem more plausible. Even though the manufacturer gave the Galaxy S21 an earlier unveiling due to the uncertainty of the pandemic, the mid-to-late February timeframe is its typical launch schedule for the Galaxy S series; coinciding more with Mobile World Congress than CES.

Reports also indicate that components for the Galaxy S22 devices are currently in mass production, according to WinFuture. That might be another hint that an actual release date is near. The Galaxy S22 goes by the model number SM-S901, while the Galaxy S22 Plus goes by the model number SM-S906, and the Galaxy S22 Ultra by the model number SM-S908.
