“TCL 30 Series Expands Options with Five New Affordable Models”

TCL has added five new smartphone models to its TCL 30 series, announcing the devices at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

While the first models of the TCL 30 series, the TCL 30 V 5G and the TCL 30 XE 5G, were propositioned for the U.S., the new models will be marketed to Europe and other international markets. TCL said its media recognition with the introductory devices and has received over 30 awards at CES 2022 for new products.

TCL is continuing its affordable price points started with the U.S. models with all of the new TCL 30 smartphones selling under EUR250 and most selling under EUR200. The brand noted that the different models have similar designs and specs as they will go to different carriers for their unique branding and marketing, much like the branding strategies that were common many years ago.

TCL 30

The TCL 30 features a 6.7-inch FHD+ display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, a MediaTek Helio G37 chip, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage, in addition to microSD expansion up to 1TB, and a 5,010mAh battery with 5V2A fast charging support. For software, the device runs Android 12 with a TCL UI system overlay.

TCL 30

The rear camera on the TCL 30 is a triple-lens set up with a 50-megapixel main lens, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and another 2-megapixel depth sensor. Some features on the system include 1080p@30fps video capture and playback, Steady Snap, High Pixel, Portrait Mode, Movie Mode, Stop Motion, and Art effects, among others. The front-facing camera is an 8-megapixel lens.

Other highlight features on the device include face unlock, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The TCL 30 will sell in Tech Black, Muse Blue color options to accompany its 7.74mm ultra-slim design.

The device is currently available in Europe for EUR179 and will soon be available in other select regions.

TCL 30 5G

The TCL 30 5G features a 6.7-inch FHD+ display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chip, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage, in addition to microSD expansion up to 1TB, and a 5,010mAh battery with 9V2A fast charging support. For software, the device runs Android 12 with a TCL UI system overlay.

TCL 50 5G

The rear camera on the TCL 30 5G is a triple-lens set up with a 50-megapixel main lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and another 2-megapixel macro sensor. Some features on the system include 1080p@30fps video capture and playback, Steady Snap, One shot, High Pixel, Portrait Mode, and Movie Mode, among others. The front-facing camera is a 13-megapixel wideangle lens.

Other highlight features on the device include face unlock, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The TCL 30 will sell in Tech Black and Dreamy Blue color options to accompany its 7.74mm ultra-slim design.

The device will be available in Europe starting in April 2022 for EUR249 and will soon be available in other select regions.

TCL 30 E

The TCL 30 E features a 6.52-inch FHD+ display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, a MediaTek Helio G25 chip, 3GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storage, in addition to microSD expansion up to 512GB, and a 5,000mAh battery. For software, the device runs Android 12 with a TCL UI system overlay.

TCL 30 E

The rear camera on the TCL 30 E is a dual-lens set up with a 50-megapixel main lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Some features on the system include 1080p@30fps video capture and playback, LED flash, HDR, Panorama Mode, Portrait Mode, and Pro mode. The front-facing camera is a 5-megapixel lens.

Other highlight features on the device include face unlock, a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The TCL 30 SE features a 6.52-inch FHD+ display with a 20:9 aspect ratio, a MediaTek Helio G25 chip, 4GB of RAM, 64GB and 128GB of internal storage options, in addition to microSD expansion up to 1TB, and a 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging support. For software, the device runs Android 12 with a TCL UI system overlay.

TCL 30 SE
