Samsung’s latest mid-range devices will be available for U.S. consumers starting next week.
The manufacturer has announced a new smartphone, the Galaxy A6, which will be available unlocked at Samsung.com for $359.99 starting September 14. The device will also soon be available through carriers, including Sprint.
The Galaxy A6 features a 5.6-inch HD display, a Samsung Exynos 7884 chip, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage with MicroSD expansion up to 400GB, a 3,000mAh battery and the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. Its camera systems include 16-megapixel front and rear lenses.
The Galaxy A6 also includes biometric features, such as a fingerprint scanner and facial recognition. Users will also have several Samsung specific features, such as the Knox security protocol and the Bixby voice assistant.
Samsung has also announced the Galaxy Tab A 10.5, which will be available in a Wi-Fi model at Samsung.com, Amazon, and Walmart for $329.99 starting September 14. The device will also soon be available in an LTE version through carriers, such as Verizon and Sprint.
The Galaxy Tab A 10.5 features a 10.5-inch1920x1200 resolution display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chip, 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage with MicroSD expansion up to 400GB, a 7,300mAh battery and the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system. Its camera system includes an 8-megapixel/5-megapixel dual-camera set up.
